Welcome to my happy place: Jsodet Crochet!
My name is Jen, owner/designer/crocheter of Jsodet Crochet.
I started crocheting back in 2010 as a hobby, making hats for myself and my then 2-year-old daughter. Using YouTube, I learned the basics, and from there I was hooked (pun intended). After a few years, I started an Etsy Shop and began selling my crocheted hats, scarves, and dolls at local craft fairs. Two years later, I added baskets, totes, and home decor to my crochet collection. In 2016 I discovered a new crochet stitch, you can read about it Bolster Stitch here.
I have been crocheting The Bolster Stitch since 2016 and have decided to write up my patterns to sell which you can find on Ravelry and in my Etsy Shop.

Although I haven't done many markets recently, I still crochet ready made items to sell in my Etsy Shop. My work and designs have evolved over the years but am very happy to have found my style. I have been inspired by a modern and simple boho style and enjoy bring that flair into my designs.
In addition to my role as a crocheter, I am a mother of 2: my daughter Chloe and our rescued furchild Zoet. I am also a licensed massage therapist but work in the real estate appraisal field with my husband, However, using my hands to create beautiful things is what I truly love.
I'm a bit of an introvert, but also a goofball.
Besides designing and crocheting, I enjoy biking around the neighborhood, flipping through home decor magazines, thrifting, going for walks in the beautiful Cleveland Metroparks, relaxing at the Solstice Steps overlooking Lake Erie and hanging out with friends.
